What’s Happening at Nature Kin

We offer year-round opportunities for seasonal learning.

  • Our 2026-27 School Season begins September 8. Enrollment Open

  • Community Celebrations: September 20 1-3 | December 20 2-4 | March 20 11-1

  • We’re excited to finally share the official trailer for “Farm School’d!”

This new four-part documentary series, produced by FARMUSE with support from Kubota, explores farm, forest, and outdoor-based education through the stories of children, families, and educators across the country.

And one of those stories is very close to home.

“Farm School’d” follows one of our Nature Kin families, from life at home to their experience at Nature Kin Farm & Forest School. Dr. Jean Lomino and our Nature Kin community are also featured, giving viewers a glimpse into what learning, growing, and connecting in nature can look like.

“And finally, Forest School has helped me become more compassionate. I have learned to love the forest, trees, plants, and animals and treat them like my friends. I’ve also learned how friends can be really different from me but also nice and thoughtful and help me grow. Even though our brains work differently from each other we still worked together to care for this farm and this forest.”

At Nature Kin Farm and Forest School, a safe and welcoming community is very important to us — we strive to create a joyful place for people of all races, ethnicities, national origins, abilities, ages, religions, sexual orientations, and genders.
